![]() I had a few issues with this book myself (more on that below) but it was an interesting concept that I hadn’t read before and it got me hooked to read more on this world Tillie Cole had created. And things get more fucked up from there, Styx helps her overcome her horrendous upbringing and she helps him care about someone else but himself and his club. Mae is a sheltered naive and somehow innocent “cult bitch” and ironically enough she has been saved by the Prez of a notoriously vicious and hedonistic motorcycle club. After a vicious dog attack during her escape Styx nurses her back to health. Naturally in true romance fashion they met again later when Salome flees the cult that had kept her captive. They met through the fence and he could never forget “the bitch with the wolf eyes” (they call women they care for bitches… more on that later). ![]() Styx met her as a young girl, her “wolf eyes” drew him in and her strange compound surroundings. The book follows Styx (aka real name River) and Mae (aka real name Salome). This is the book that started the whole Hangmen Universe. We will start at the beginning: The OG “It Ain’t Me Babe” (Book 1) ![]() ![]() The time has come! As promised this is my full review of the Hades Hangmen series to date! As of AugI have read every book and novella in the Hades Hangmen series by Tillie Cole and WHAT A ROLLER COASTER. ![]()
